Immediately after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, people said that life wouldn’t survive there for at least 70 years. Yet this dire prediction failed to materialize, as life reappeared very quickly and Hiroshima was rebuilt. Today it is a vibrant, modern and very liveable city.

What is day-to-day life like in a city so marked by history? Come explore this exhibition, which follows the people of Hiroshima as they go about their daily lives. You’ll learn about their city’s unshakeable commitment to promoting peace and banning nuclear weapons, so that life can continue to be passed along to future generations throughout the world.
