Our folk scene

A strong voice in the Quebec musical arena for more than fifteen years, Catherine Durand is a true artisan on our folk scene.

A young veteran, Catherine Durand can be considered, in many ways, as one of the most important pioneers who paved the way for the cheerful wave of young female folk singer-songwriters whose unique signature has been noticeable in Quebec for a few years now.
