Meet some Quebec amphibians and reptiles

As spring approaches, nature is gradually awakening. The first flowers are appearing. Animals are emerging from their winter slumber and peeking out cautiously. To the joyous song of frogs, come discover the huge variety of amphibians and reptiles that make their homes in Quebec, in a temporary habitat created especially for the occasion. Snakes, turtles, toads and salamanders, from the maple stand to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, overcome their shyness and reveal their little-known beauties. Nature interpreters will be on hand to help you spot all the animals’ charms, and explain the conservation programs at the Biodôme. An excerpt from a documentary by Étienne Plasse, Un monde inaperçu, also illustrates their springtime awakening after the long Quebec winter.

And why not finish off your visit by using the frogs’ song as your telephone ringtone?

Étienne Plasse will be present for the 1 pm and 3 pm screenings on March 4, 5, 11 and 12.
