Atta ants were our planet’s earliest farmers. And there’s strength in numbers among these pioneers, as each one pitches in to cultivate the fungus they feed on. They tirelessly come and go between the underground garden and the plant matter needed to keep it going. It looks rather like ant rush hour, without the bottlenecks! Come watch these labourers at work, admire their inspiring collective intelligence and marvel at a city that never sleeps. (20 min)
