Halloween at the Garden means learning all about pumpkins and squashes while having fun!

You’ll know absolutely everything there is to know about the gourd family! At the Squash Kiosk, little ones, fat ones, round or warty ones – each one will be exercising its ingenuity to make the best impression. And at the pumpkin-decorating contest, the good witch Esmeralda, an urban farmer, invites you to tour roughly 800 squashes and pumpkins decorated by students and visitors.

In addition to introducing you to the fruit of her labors – an endless series of ugly fruit, as it happens – Esmeralda is cooking up some really strange potions.

Don’t leave the Garden without popping in to see the Little Monsters Courtyard, where all-new play structures await.

The Great Pumpkin Ball takes place daily, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
