With Alizée Girard and Rosalie Beauchamp-Rioux, research students in Étienne Laliberté’s laboratory at the Institut de recherche en biologie végétale, Université de Montréal

The Canadian Airborne Biodiversity Observatory, or CABO, has an ambitious goal: mapping biodiversity from the air. Can the way leaves react to light serve as a signature for identifying plant species? That’s what Alizée and Rosalie will be trying to determine through their research. Learn about their fieldwork when you visit the spectro-mobile, a lab on wheels equipped with specialized instruments, and drop into the Marie-Victorin Herbarium, where the type specimens for this cutting-edge research are conserved. In French only.
