Mobile screenings

Wapikoni Mobile, in co-operation with Musique Nomade, is proud to announce a new season of Vélo Paradiso, its mobile film showings featuring a fleet of three-wheeled bicycles, each equipped with a projector and a large screen. The First Nations Garden is pleased to welcome one of these mobile theatres, screening contemporary Indigenous works.

This year’s special theme is “Language, Ties and the Land.”

Vélo Paradiso is inspired by the idea of celebrating togetherness and Montréal’s cultural and artistic diversity. It offers a showcase for the reality of young Indigenous people and their cultures, with the goal of breaking the cycle of prejudice and indifference through original productions and approaches. It is helping to change perceptions and promote vital cultural rapprochement.
