Let's celebrate women in science and technology!

In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, the Planétarium Rio Tinto Alcan invites you to an evening highlighting women working in science and technology. Under the dome of the Chaos theatre, join us for an exciting discussion panel moderated by Chloé Freslon, URelles Founder, with inspiring women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), such as:

  • Isabelle Tremblay, Director, Astronauts, Life Science & Space Medicine at the Canadian Space Agency
  • Laurie Rousseau-Nepton, astronomer at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Corporation
  • Sonya Charest, Director of Public Programs and Education at the Montreal Insectarium
  • Valérie Bécaert, Director of the Element AI Research Group

They will share their journey as scientists and managers while focusing on the positive aspects of their careers and their successes.

During the intermission led by DJ Mini, take the opportunity to get to know these exceptional women! The evening will end in style with a private concert by Safia Nolin!

In French only.

Doors open at 6 p.m.
