Let yourself be dazzled by this discovery tour exploring marine habitats and oceans in the ecosystems of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Sub-Antarctic Islands. You will learn about the richness and biodiversity of the species in these sometimes unknown habitats. A spotlight on the fragility of these ecosystems and the influence that humans can have on them, both in their degradation and in their recovery.

Science to the rescue of the oceans

These activities are being organized for the Ocean Decade initiative launched in 2021 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Espace pour la vie and the Biodôme contribute to this global movement through their education and awareness-raising efforts.
