An ode to the Moon

This year, the Gardens of Light event is renewed, offering a brand new journey.

Universal beacon that has guided human beings since the dawn of time, the Moon is the light that ushers you while you discover the Gardens of Light.

Begin your visit guided by the wolves' howling and the moonlight. Let yourself be drawn to the poetry of the Japanese Garden, which transforms into a vast canvas on which autumn falls. You’ll then be greeted by the magic of the First Nations Garden on an immersive and poetic journey to the heart of the seasons of life, together with the spirits of the river, fire, forest and wind. Finally, like a last pirouette, the Chinese Garden lights up : its hundreds of lanterns whisper the legend of Pangu, the giant who created the world. These new immersive and sensory experiences combine art, science, technology and emotion.

Gardens of Light is partially funded under the Entente sur le développement culturel de Montréal between the Ville de Montréal and the gouvernement du Québec.
