Trees are separate beings; they have their own way of living and inhabiting the world.

But did you know that trees are also social beings that develop rich, complex relationships with a whole host of living beings, just as we humans do?

During an activity, you will discover the different relationships that trees nurture – to one another and with other plants, with animals and also with humans. Then you will learn how trees manage to communicate. Go on an adventure searching for clues about their interactions in the Arboretum!

An exhibition helps us look at trees in a new way, as members of a broader community, and inspire us to envisage a common future. This will serve as a springboard to citizen activities to be held in the coming year and that will make the Tree Pavilion an ideal place for making connections, in all senses of the term.
