An exceptional work of sound art

Discover a work based on environmental data and the ever growing distance between the Earth and the Voyager probes. Be swept away by original musical scores burned onto a disc made of bioplastic. Explore a unique creative process that involved collecting environmental data in Montréal's east end industrial zone and developing a musical composition device that uses this information.

Inertia – Speculative Fossils is the work of artist-researcher Guillaume Pascale and the group of artists-researchers directed by Alice Jarry (Concordia University)—Brice Ammar-Khodja, Jacqueline Beaumont, Asa Perlman and Philippe Vandal—in cooperation with Ariane Plante. With the participation of Jean Dubois.
Co-produced by Uchu Lab
