An Innu hailing from Mashteuiatsh, on the shores of Lake Pekuakami, Soleil Launière lives and works in Tiöhtià:ke (Montreal). A multidisciplinary artist combining song, movement and theater, with forays into performance art, she mixes two-spirited bodily presence with experimental sounds and visuals, while drawing inspiration from the sacred spirit of animals and the cosmogony of the Innu world.
