A Canada-wide science photo contest

Seeing nature through images and not words is an original idea launched in 2010 by the Association francophone pour le savoir (ACFAS) through its La preuve par l’image contest. Dedicated to images from all fields of scientific research, this contest was expanded in 2016 to include submissions from across Canada, thanks to the collaboration of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

Vote for your favorite picture

Montréal Space for Life is celebrating the living world of nature with an exhibit of the 20 images selected by the 2022 contest jury. These images reveal an unimaginably complex and organized world of immense beauty.

Take the time to admire these real natural works of art that allow us to take a peek at nature through the eyes of researchers. Choose your favourite image and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award Découverte, sponsored by Radio-Canada.
