Discover species with 'dual citizenship'

It is not uncommon for an animal’s critical habitat to straddle a border created by humans, and certainly not in the case of Canada and the United States, which share the longest border in the world, stretching over 8,891 km!

In this photography exhibition, you’ll get a look at North American wildlife species that have “dual citizenship.” You’ll come to appreciate the importance of sound ecosystem management and collaborative conservation efforts to protect ecosystems. You’ll also learn about the treaties, policies, programs and agreements that guide the actions of Canada and the United States so that together, our two nations can preserve the wildlife unique to our part of the world.
